Mar Roxas is against it because of his presidential ambitions? Why are we always afraid of GLORIA? Do you think the majority of Filipinos are stupid enough (if ever cha-cha will push through) just to remain silent and passive if GMA and her allies will really use it to suit her wishes??? He is pushing for Constitutional Convention wherein the delegates would be elected together with the national and local officials during the 2010 elections. With Gloria's Cha-Cha, we may need to suspend the 2010 elections to give way with Cha-Cha. Remember the "slip of tongue" by Press Secretary Jesus Dureza when he prayed for Mrs. Arroyo's stay beyond 2010? He is against Gloria’s Cha-Cha that is thru Constituent Assembly.
