Cebu Bloggers Society Elects New Set of Officers
Cebu City, Cebu, May 8, 2011 — It’s another year of new beginning for Cebu Bloggers Society Incorporated (CBSi) as its members elected a new set of officers during the General Assembly last April 30, 2011, at Techbar, Asiatown, IT Park, Apas, Lahug.
Kevin Ray Chua, one of the CBSi founders, takes the lead as president. The following, meanwhile, are the other elected and appointed officers:
*VP Corporate Affairs: Agnes Embile Jimenez
*VP Events/Marketing: Sinjin Pineda
*VP Membership: Fleire Castro
*VP Content Management: Bjornson Bernales
*VP Education: Ruben Licera Jr.
*VP Ways and Means: Bert Azura Padilla
*VP Finance / Treasurer: Wilhelmina Sarawi
*Auditor: Buboy Tapia
The rest who make up the board of trustees are Mark Gallardo, Jaysee John Pingkian, Gerrymie Tampus, Michelle Maglasang, and Nancy Cudis.
Before the announcement of the elected and appointed officers, the previous year’s committee heads also presented their respective reports to the rest of the group.
Currently the officers and board of trustees are coming up with plans and policies for the old and new members of the organization, including the participation in several group development sessions. With these strategies, Chua hopes to “place CBSi on the right track.” The newly elected batch of officers is also looking forward to the cooperation of everyone.
Induction of newly-elected officers was made on May 2, 2011 at Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. 6th Floor, Plenary Hall.
