A. MAIN CONTEST MECHANICS

1.    Has been part of the recently concluded Social Media Day Cebu 2012.
2.    Blog about your experience. Be creative. Be original. Share it on social media. Read more below on the guidelines on the blog post.

B. WRITING YOUR BLOGPOST
1.    You must own your content, including text, photos, and videos.
2.    Tell us what you enjoyed and what you learned and/or realized during the 2012 Cebu Social Media Day 2012.
3.    Share your suggestions to improve next year’s Social Media Day Cebu.
4.    Make a blog with 300-500 words. Put a striking title/headline.
5.  Your blog post should answer  the following questions:

• “What can you say about the venue?”
• “What can you say about Social Media Day Cebu?”
• “What can you say about the Speakers?”

6. Any mention of constructive suggestion and comment is welcomed.

C. THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. The contest is open to those who attended the Cebu Social Media Day last June 30, 2012 at Mactan Isla Resort.

2. Any blog site or personal social media accounts which offer blog hosting services are allowed, provided that the blog post can be viewed publicly. It should be accessible online until winners are declared.

3. English and Cebuano are the only allowed languages for the blog entry.

4. Failure to comply at least one of the stated rules in “writing your blog post” will disqualify your entry

5. Decision of winners by the chosen Panel of Judges is final and irrevocable.

D. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

• Content: 40 percent (Creativity-engaging, relevant, and informative; Originality-you own the text and media content)

• Writing style: 40 percent (composition, technicalities and accuracy)

• Social media impact: 20 percent (Number of likes, shares, retweets)
