Stream Opens Its New Office in J Centre Mall

The business process outsourcing (BPO) industry in Cebu continues to thrive with the opening of another Stream Global Services facility in J Centre Mall last October 22, 2012. The ribbon-cutting ceremony and press conference were participated by the media including Cebu Bloggers Society, Mandaue City heads, and some special Stream guests.

Over the past years, Stream Global Services has gathered more than 100 recognitions, including Global Services 100, Microsoft Vendor Award, CRM Excellence Award, MVP Quality Award, Top 50 Teleservices Award, IAOP Global Outsourcing 100, Top Outsourcer, and 2010 Taipei ASOCIO ICT Best Practice Award. It services multiple industries such as telecommunications, technology, entertainment and media, financial services, and retail, providing a variety of support channels: customer care and retention, back office, technical support, and inbound and outbound sales.

In the Philippines, the Fortune 1000 company has found a home in different locations, including the vibrant, bustling province of Cebu. The first site, located in Asiatown, IT Park, Apas, has a total area of 51,861 square feet with a full capacity of more than 1,000.

Now with the opening of the second site, the firm is now capable of adding over 1,200 employees in its over 75,000 square feet of brand-new office. Overall, there are 11 Stream Global Services sites all across the country, including Quezon City, Clark in Pampanga, Makati City, Muntinlupa City, and Pasay City.

In an interview conducted by Manila Times (5 August 2012) on Australian BPO Association president Martin Conboy, he mentioned that, in the next 12 years, the BPO industry in the country is about to be the major GDP contributor. Further, the article revealed that in 2016, it’s expected to earn $25 billion in revenues and generate more than 4 million jobs.

With Stream Global Services in our midst, that will surely be within reach.
