CBS Elects New Set Of Officers, Supported by Max's Restaurant and Krispy Kreme
Cebu, Philippines – Cebu’s Premier Blogging Organization, Cebu Bloggers Society has elected a new set of Executive of Officers on May 19, 2019. Supported by Max’s Restaurant, the momentous event was held in Max’s Banilad Town Center branch. The General Assembly and Election of Officers were graced by 44% active members from all over Cebu.
The General Assembly started with an opening prayer by our Board Of Trustee, Mommy Blogger Nym Wales Dayday.
Then, Sinjin Pineda, outgoing CBS President, graced the floor with his welcome remarks. After which, he continued to deliver his State of the Society reports specifically on Membership, Content Management, Social Media and Financial, etc.
A quick break and members chit chat were then brought by Krispy Kreme Philippines as they offered mouth-tempting Original Glazed Donuts and some hot brewed coffee to our tables.
The second part of the event then commenced with the Election of Officers for 2019 to 2020. It was headed by Cebu Bloggers Society Founder, Mark Monta who was assisted by Laysho Ka, Di Video Blogger, Alem Garcia. Here’s the complete list of the newly Elected Officers.
On a Social Media Posts, the outgoing President, Sinjin Pineda and CBS Founder, Mark Monta proudly supported the new officers of the organization as they stated,
“The Cebu Bloggers Society ushers in a new era as it elects a new set of officers. Leading CBS for the past two years has been a daunting task, considering the circumstances of the ever-changing online landscape. Is Blogging dead? I believe that this new set of officers has what it takes, is resilient and strong enough to take on this thankless duty. Congratulations! Expect us to rally behind you.” said Sinjin Pineda on his Facebook Post. While CBS Founder, Mark Monta posted “Congratulations to the newly elected officers of Cebu Bloggers Society for 2019-2020! Since I founded this organization on February 14, 2008, I always try my best to give my effort, time, resources and even share my tears and happiness to this family of Bloggers. To the EXECOM members, your founder will always support you and the organization!”
The event ended with an Oath Taking Ceremony headed by Sinjin Pineda.
