First Social Media Day in Cebu at Mactan Isla Resort and Spa

Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. is co-organizing the first ever Social Media Day in Cebu on June 30th at Mactan Isla Resort.

“Social Media Day Cebu  will be a day of fun and blogging literacy, of acquaintances and sharing stories about blogging and social media,” exclaimed Cebu Bloggers Society President Ruben Licera Jr.

This is the event for social media enthusiasts, practitioners, online entrepreneurs and bloggers who have admired and relied to and who are avid users of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube, StumbleUpon, FourSquare, Quora, Tumblr, Instagram, Flickr, Multiply and other social media sites.

CBSi Vice President for External Affairs Bjornson Bernales adds, “SMDayCebu will also be a day of meeting with bloggers who have benefited from blogging, who are interested in sharing their online opportunities and who may be your partners in possible ventures.

What to expect from Cebu Social Media Day?

Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. and the event organizers have shared collective efforts to come up with a program suited for bloggers who are members of the organization. As an open community that embodies the Cebuano hospitality, Cebu Bloggers is opening this event to all non-CBSi members as well.

CBSi Vice President for Internal Affairs Nancy Cudis adds, ” CBSi has invited noted speakers from blogging, social media and online journalism including an award-winning blogger and online editor to share his insights about online writing, social media and online opportunities.”

This event is free for members of Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. For non-CBSi members, you are required to fill out this form: Social Media Day Cebu Form Here.

Due to a limited number of seats, we will only invite selected registrants to join the event with instructions via email.  If approved, registration fee for non-CBSi members is Php 500.00.
