Orville Tadle may appear quiet, even brooding, to many; but a lot of things can actually make him laugh until tears form, including green jokes. He’s a no-nonsense guy who takes to heart his responsibilities as the founder of Cebu SEO and Elance’s country representative. First question. What got you into blogging?

I started blogging since 2008, the Friendster era, when Dad bought me a PC. It started from there. I love sharing what’s inside my PC, those software and tools that are quite useful to me and readily available for some. Then, I found out that it would be a great help if I could publish this stuff on the web and earn few Ad-cents (adsense) from it in return.

How did you become Elance’s country representative?

When they e-mailed me to be part of their country representation program. Actually, I was never active with Elance before until one of my clients introduced me with it because of their Escrow, Elance’s guaranteed payment service.

For those who want to join Elance, what will be your top 4 tips?

1. Make most out of their profile to stand out from the others.
2. Learn as your earn.
3. Keep bidding!
4. Treat your client as your girlfriend/boyfriend.

What made you decide to create Cebu SEO? How many members does it currently have?

It was a collaborative effort with my previous colleagues because there was no major local SEM community in Cebu at that time. Currently, it has over 500 registered members, 160 are still active enough logging and lurking the site.

You’re a popular CBSi Blogger! But what are the top 3 things we don’t know about you yet?

1. I’m practicing the Jewish faith since I was a child.
2. I used to be a heavy online game addict. I spent most of my scholarship grant for it, and quitting was a great accomplishment.
3. I was raised in Iligan City with my “pogi” unidentical twin brother. I first stepped in Cebu when I was about 5 years old.

In your Iamdownloader.com website, you claimed you haven’t found the perfect smartphone. Well, have you recently?

My quest for the perfect smartphone never ends because it doesn’t exist at all. I think it’s how you make a smartphone perfect for you.

Do you really know how to speak Hebrew? How did you develop the language?

No, not really. Just a basic Hebrew and I can also read few lines. My father taught me well.

Who’s your favorite blogger? Why?

Jehzeel Laurente of Jehzlau-Concepts. He’s simply unique. He’s the first one who taught me about organic traffic, i.e., SEO.

Your birthday is only a few months away. How do you usually celebrate your birthdays?

You guys are so sweet! haha… Since you all remembered it, I’ll refrain from hanging around more often :-). Kidding. I will just keep it simple and secret (KISS).

You’re starting to speak in gatherings now. How was your first experience? How do you reduce your anxiety?

It was very worthwhile experience. I believe there is always a big classroom for improvement. I think speaking is not a talent but a skill that we can develop and acquire.

What makes Orville laugh so hard?

Good, green and laughable jokes.

What are the three things you love about Cebu?

1. It’s booming and progressive economy
2. Cebuano artists, pros and talents who are really proud of themselves
3. Unity, peace and order, like no other

Can you talk about Marketcebu?

One big reason why I set up the site is to provide a clearer and bigger picture of what Cebu can offer best not just to all Cebuanos but also to the rest of the world!
