The Mactan Newtown will host Job Fair for 5,000 Job Seekers
June 1 will be another historic day for Megaworld, the nation’s largest residential condominium and BPO proprietor, because a total of 5,000 slots will be available on June 1 for aspiring employees to grab at The Mactan Newtown.

Job seekers will be delighted to know that various employment will be open at The Mactan Newtown. Available jobs that will be offered during the job fair are from the administrative, human resources, sales, hospitality, and BPO industry.

The Mactan Newtown Locators
The leading companies who are part of the job fair are EnfraUSA and Results Manila, both of which are occupying 4 levels in One World Center, the first office building of The Mactan Newtown.
“Since we announced the construction of our second office tower in February, these two first-time locators in Cebu have already expressed their interest in expanding their presence in our development. This is why they are aggressive in hiring new and veteran talents in the BPO industry,” shares Go.
Two World Center, the second office building at The Mactan Newtown with 7,274 square meters of leasable area, will be completed around first half of 2014.
Megaworld are also looking forward to expanding their sales and marketing team. Other companies that will be taking part in the job fair are Resorts World Manila and Golden Arches Development Corporation, McDonald’s Philippines’ master franchise.
“There’s still a big portion of untapped talent here in Lapu-Lapu City which we simply cannot ignore. Their ardor can be harnessed to elevate Mactan’s status as the nest business hub in Central Visayas,” explains Go.
President Benigno S. Aquino III declared signed proclamation No. 407 which declared that The Mactan Newtown is a mixed-use special economic zone for technology, retirement, and tourism.
The Mactan Newtown Formula
A skyrocketing budget of Php 20 billion has been allocated by Megaworld to complete The Mactan Newtown and to give Lapu-Lapu City a taste of the famous formula that Megaworld has formulated, “live-work-play.” This concept was first introduced by Megaworld through Eastwood City, Forbestown Center, McKinley Hill and Newport City.
Megaworld has also another big project, in the name of Iloilo Business Park, soon to be the largest business park in Western Visayas.
