My Pearly Whites Got an Awesome Treatment at Metro Dental Philippines
It is our responsibility to visit the dentist every 6 months or less and I felt the dire need for my pearly whites to be attended to, and I was glad that Metro Dental Philippines was willing to take care of them.
Why Metro Dental Philippines?
I always have this excuse that I’m too busy to go to the dentist. Now that a dental clinic like Metro Dental Philippines is situated inside a mall, could I still be excused in making more excuses to postpone my visit with dentist? I guess not.
I really love the idea of placing the doctors within the reach of most people. Since it is a favorite pastime of Filipinos to go to the mall, it is very strategic for Metro Dental Philippines to open their services there too.
My Metro Dental Philippines Experience
It’s been a while since I had my teeth cleaned and I needed to replace old teeth fillings as well. Good thing that Metro Dental Philippines is conveniently located in SM City Cebu. I called their office to reserve a schedule. Their polite staff answered me properly and politely.
When my scheduled day finally arrived, I couldn’t wait to have my service started!
As I entered Metro Dental Philippines, I could notice that it’s clean, reasonably spacious, and comfortable to stay. I confirmed my reservation with the front desk and the lovely Miss Maricris Andoyo answered back with a smile. Before I could enter the dentist’s clinic, I was seated comfortably on their couch.
When it was my turn, I was assisted to go the X-ray room. To tell you honestly, I was a bit scared when I entered the room. It was my first time to experience X-ray for my teeth.
Nonetheless, the staff assured me that it will be fine, so she asked me to wear a lead apron, bite the mouthpiece covered in plastic and rest my chin on the X-ray platform. After making sure that I had the proper position, I was asked to close my eyes until the machine will instruct me open them.
When I was left alone on the room, the machine instructed me to close my eyes and it began playing classical music while scanning my teeth. The process lasted for about 3 minutes or less. It music was very relaxing that I could fall asleep while standing.
After my X-ray, I was asked to enter Dr. Cherry Ann Tuba’s clinic. I find her a very wonderful doctor. She smiles a lot. She is very accommodating and very curious. She showed me the parts of my teeth that needed some work. She really did a wonderful oral prophylaxis on me!
I could feel that my teeth have been thoroughly cleansed, even though I thought that the sound produced by the ultrasonic instrument while touching my teeth was like contacting aliens from outer space. It always sounds like a high-pitched Morse code to me. It’s not something to be worried about because it is not painful.
After the large tartar build-up was removed, Dr. Cherry worked on my teeth with her fine hand tools and polish. After my teeth were being worked on, I could really feel smiling a big smile then.
Dr. Cherry checked the number of cavities she has to work on and I rather not tell how many holes she had to fill. I’ll just tell you that it took her more than an hour to finish them.
After all the services were delivered, I felt very satisfied. Miss Russel, Miss Maricris, and Dr. Cherry did their best to give me the dental care I deserved.
We were all so jovial after the oral prophylaxis that we found time to do some photo-shoot session inside the clinic. The evidence can be seen in the photographs.
From a scale of 1 to 10, I give Metro Dental a score of 9! Metro Dental is really worth it! I will surely recommend them to my family and friends. Having unparalleled convenience and state-of-the-art technology, they really do live by their tagline, “Quality and accessible dental care.”
