What is this year’s Social Media Day Cebu Meetup 2013 theme?

The year’s meetup will be about our patriotism where all participants will be sharing their ideas about cultivating and promoting our rich culture and heritage.

The awesome team up of Third Team Media, GSA, GDG Cebu, GBG Cebu, and Cebu Bloggers Society and the fantastic support of Diamond Suites and Residences and Potato Webs as sponsors made this year’s meetup possible.

Social Media Day Cebu Meetup 2013 Schedule of Activities

9 – 10 AM

Arrival and registration

10 AM – 11 AM

• A hangout with Google SEA Outreach Manager Hadi Othman discussing on how to promotoe Cebu and the Philippines by using Google+
• Xyza Yape & Lovette Jam Jacosalem, Iligan Bloggers Society founders, will be sharing the wonders of patriotism and travel blogging
• Chairman of Artists and Musicians Marketing Cooperative Ian Zafra will be sharing his side of patriotism through the music industry

11 AM – 12 PM

• Ice breaker activities
• Doyzkie Buenaviaje of iLearners, Inc. will be sharing his insights on how to promote love of country by embracing a nonprofit cause.
• TechTalks founder Tina Amper will have her say about loving Philippines by supporting startups

12 NN – 1 PM

• Lunch break

1 PM – 3 PM

• 1 hour of unconference to be facilitated by Bjorn Bernales and Johnn Mendoza
• James Arthur Oliva of Reddit Philippines and Reddit Cebu will be discussing about love for culture while Insoy Ninal of Missing Filemon will be sharing his take of patriotism through his love of music.
• The meetup will be wrapped up with Missing Filemon performing 2 songs and people can get to talk with each other after it.
