Phoenix Petroleum now open in Umapad, Mandaue City, Cebu

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. (PNX) is opening its newest station in Umapad, Mandaue City, Cebu.  The Phoenix Mandaue station is a first venture by the Hayco Fuel Enterprise headed by its General Manager and PNX Dealer Erika O. Hayco.

On hand to witness its official opening on-site at the Phoenix station along U.N. Avenue, Umapad, Mandaue City located on the way to the new Mandaue bridge is Mr. Alan Raymond T. Zorrilla, PNX Vice President – External Affairs, Business Development and Security.  He will be joined by Mandaue City Vice Mayor Hon. Glenn Bercede and Mandaue Chamber of Commerce Past President Mr. Eric Ng. Mendoza.

The first Phoenix Petroleum retail service station opened in 2005. A year and a half later, 20 Phoenix stations had opened. Since then, the Company has continually expanded, with 33 stations opened in 2007 and 86 in 2008. Phoenix Petroleum ended 2009 with 120 stations in Mindanao, Luzon, and Visayas.

As of June 30, 2013, Phoenix Petroleum has network of 343 stations. Of these 343 stations, 203 are based in Mindanao, 41 in Visayas, and 99 in Luzon.  It was first incorporated in 2002 as the Davao Oil Terminal Services Corporation (DOTSCO), a family business in Davao City.  Heading its Board of Directors areDomingo T.
