Our Aaron "Xerxes" Bernadez, Our Sunshine!
She is our sunshine! Every time we see her during events, she smiles and gives you that look – that “Hey, how are you?” look! Yes, she is our Xerxes Bernadez. Yesterday was the saddest news that our organization, Cebu Bloggers Society, received! She is gone, she left us! Everybody cries! She encountered a health crisis last December and yesterday, she succumbed to multiple organ failures. She was 34.
But I made this article not to talk about her sadness and tears but to celebrate her laughter, wits, and positivities while she was with us here on Earth.
I started with this post…
“ONE OF THE TRUEST!
When I heard the news from Sinjin, wala ko nitoo pero galain na akong pamati.
Atty. Ethelbert Ouano expressed his sadness in this post:
With great sadness over the unimaginable loss of a close friend, Hershey Chua, tonight, we mourn for Xerxes Bernadez’ untimely passing on to paradise. Rest easy, Xerxes Aaron! You’ve touched our lives in so many ways: with flowers, words of caution and concerns, and, of course and as always, laughters. Then I remember these words:“We cannot know for certain how long we have here.We cannot foresee the trials or misfortunes that will test us along the way. We cannot know what God’s plan is for us.What we can do is to live out our lives as best we can with purpose, and with love, and with joy. We can use each day to show those who are closest to us how much we care about them, and treat others with the kindness and respect that we wish for ourselves. “
“No goodbyes… you will always be in my heart. I love you geng. Rest In Peace” said Guada Esmena, who is a former-CBS member and also a good friend of X.
“Geng Xerxes, I will never forget that day in August 2008 when you welcomed me to the Cebu Bloggers Society. You helped me start, and you helped me grow. Beyond blogging, you were a true friend, an animated personality, and you were never selfish. I will forever cherish all of our experiences together. I am extremely devastated to know of your passing, especially upon realizing that we might no longer be able to see you physically due to current restrictions, but I believe you are in a better place now with our Creator. Rest well dear Hershey! Love you! XÖXÖ” said Sinjin Pineda, CBS Former-President and a closed friend of X
“Mare, I know you’re in a good place right now. You’re one of my closest friend in the industry and we’ve been thru thick and thin. You’re an epitome of friendship to me and I’m grateful to met you in this life. If given a chance we could be sisters but God has plans for us and we trust his process. No dramas mare.
We love you mareng Xerxes Bernadez. Queen of all Passerine💕✨” said Kim Charlie, CBS VP-Finance who is a closed friend to X.
