Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry, JobStreet.com take partnership to a higher plane

After the successful Careers Beyond Boundaries Career Fair in 2011, JobStreet.com, the number one job site in the Philippines and the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), tagged as province’s engine of growth toward global competitiveness, partner anew this year to bring the biggest job fair to the Queen City of the South- the JobStreet.com Jobgantic Career Fair 2012 in Cebu on June 14, Thursday, at the Cebu Trade Hall of SM City Cebu. The said event is also part of the Cebu Business Month 2012 (CBM 2012) programme of activities.

Cebu Business Month 2012 will be a venue for the CCCI to continue promoting Cebu as an investment and tourism hub in the Asia-Pacific Region by promoting and strengthening local businesses to make them even more globally competitive and attractive. In this light, businesses definitely see the importance of acquiring the best and most appropriate talents to fill up and even expand their business.

“CBM 2012 envisions Cebu to soar higher and that means having the best talents at hand. And we at JobStreet.com are committed to connect business with talent. We have witnessed last year the potentials of our VisMin-based jobseekers. There are a lot of talents waiting to be tapped here,” states Yoda Buyco, marketing director of JobStreet.com.

JobStreet.com shall open more than 70 booths for around 10,000 jobseekers in the VisMin region. Last year’s career fair had over 60 participating employers and more than 5,000 registered jobseekers from Cebu and other nearby provinces.
