Now on it’s 7th run, the Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 will showcase the heritage of 4 major cities in the Cebu Metropolis. Together with various partners and sponsors, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) guarantees that you will become proud of our history, of what you are today, and what we will become in the future. After all, Gabii sa Kabilin has already received a merit for public relations program, in sustaining arts and culture, heritage and tourism; the merit of which was an Anvil Award.

Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 Activities
Various activities will surely fill the senses of the participants. They will be presented with cultural shows, culinary wonders, art galleries, and amazing exhibits that will be much to their delight!
The Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 ticket is an all-in-one pass for entrance to all destinations, all-you-can ride trips by the Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 buses, as well as 1 tartanilla ride of your life in the old district of Cebu.
The Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 ticket is only Php 150! Children 7 years old and below can be admitted with free of charge!
The Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 tickets are readily available since May 3 at any of the participating museums and destinations.
Some local thoroughfares will be closed to allow safe passage of participants from one downtown district site to another.

Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 will be held on May 31, 2013 from 6 PM to 12 MN. Children can stay as children because 7 destinations have organized activities that are catered for them! These are the destinations: Casa Gorordo Museum, Cathedral Museum of Cebu, Colegio del Santo Niño, Fo Guang Shan Chu Un Temple, Fort San Pedro, Lapu-Lapu City and Talisay City.
Event implementation could never be possible without the help and collaboration of the following Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 partners: Cebu Province LGUs, Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Talisay City, Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission, Cebu City Police Office, Santo Niño de Cebu – Augustinian Social Development Foundation, Cebu City Traffic Operations Management, Department of Tourism Central Visayas, Cebu City Parks and Playgrounds Commission, Naval Forces Central of the Philippine Navy, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Cebu City also passed City Ordinance 2327 which declares that last Friday of May as yearly Night of Heritage or Gabii sa Kabilin.
RAFI, with one focus area aimed at Culture and Heritage, is looking forward in helping communities to understand, value, and share their culture and heritage with other people. RAFI’s other focus also aim at Education, Leadeship and Citizenship, Micro-finance and Entrepreneurship, and Integrated Development.
